At Kristinit, our designs embody our commitment to beauty, nature, and service.
We are heart broken that a massive oil spill is spewing 200,000 gallons of oil a day just off the US Gulf Coast creating an oil slick that is affecting millions of animals. Coastal birds will be the hardest hit, but dead sea turtles have already washed up on shore, and marine mammals swimming through the slick risk exposure to the volatile chemicals. Dolphins can pass on the poison in their own milk, and the oil can burn the eyes and mucous membranes of whales and other marine life. With your help, we are donating a percentage of each sale made at Kristinit to the International Fund for Animal Welfare. IFAW rejects the notion that the interests of humans and animals are separate. Instead they embrace the understanding that the fate and future of harp seals-and all other animals on Earth-are inextricably linked to our own. For every item of Kristinit clothing purchased- we donate a percentage of to the Pachama Alliance. Pachamama Alliance is a wonderful charity that preserves the earth's rainforests by empowering the indigenous cultures who are its natural custodians. To save the rainforest we need to go to work in our own part of the world, changing the mindset that drives us to destroy our own planet home.
